Individual Work With Young People & Families

  • Problem solving consultations with teaching staff and parents.

  • Support for annual reviews and EHCP requests.

  • Individual therapeutic intervention. 

  • Supervision, supporting staff to facilitate intervention.

Working with Schools and Organisations

  • Promoting inclusion for children and young people by;

  • Establishing, monitoring and evaluating school based interventions.

  • Implementing action research into school systems.

  • Developing school policies.

  • Implementing person centred approaches.

Training and development workshops 

  • We ensure that training, workshops and drop in sessions are valuable, meaningful, targeted to meet needs and build on existing expertise of those involved.

  • All training, workshops and drop ins are developed following a consultation to explore challenges and agree aims and objectives for the session/s.

Case Study 1

Ayaan is 4 years old. He attends his local nursery. Staff have requested support to explore possible barriers to Ayaan's play and social interaction skills.

Our Typical Involvement

Consultation with parents and school staff, observation of Ayaan, play based assessment, joint home-school feedback and planning meeting. Written report.

Case Study 2

Secondary Learning Support Assistants requested advice on providing constructive feedback and support to students when in class, without providing them with the answers.

Twilight training session with secondary Learning Support Assistants focusing on providing effective feedback and mediation to students​

Case Study 3

A small group of girls in year 8 are struggling to develop and maintain positive friendships. School staff have requested support to set up and deliver an intervention with the aim of developing social interaction and problem solving skills.

Our Typical Involvement

8 week, group social skills intervention. The intervention is supported by a member of school staff who is able to support the girls to generalise and apply the skills they have learnt. Written feeback.

Case Study 4

Vishali is 15 years old. School staff have requested support to ensure Vishali's Education Health and Care Plan reflects his current level of need and plan for his transition into post 16 education.

Our Typical Involvement

Consultation with parents and school staff, classroom observation, individual work, attendance at Vishali's Annual Review.

We can work on an ad hoc basis or through securing annual contracts. Annual contracts run over the academic year and are offered within a pricing structure depending on the number of days required. Please contact us for a quote or to discuss our pricing structure.
